The ASI 0400 Stainless Steel Recessed Heavy-Duty Soap Dish is intended for installation in showers and sink areas with drywall walls that feature rough openings that are 6-1/8 inches in width by 4-1/8 inches in height by 4 inches in depth. Crafted from 20-gauge, type-304 stainless steel, the shell and flange are outfitted with two countersunk holes for mounting. Designed to accommodate a standard soap bar, he body of the unit is free of seams, thanks to its drawn, one-piece construction. A retaining lip is included in the design to prevent the soap from falling onto the floor of the shower or into the sink. Ridges at the bottom of the unit help to create friction and further decrease the likelihood of the soap slipping out of the container.
